Volunteer

Our PTSA is entirely run by volunteers and we are actively in need of more helping hands. Prior experience is not necessary. We welcome everyone to volunteer and become an active member of our community.

All volunteers must complete a background check per the Renton School District policy. If you plan to volunteer in the classroom sometime this year, we recommend completing your background check now so you can volunteer as soon as needed. It only takes a few minutes to complete the form.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

We’d love your help with any of the current opportunities listed below. If you have other interests or passions that you think might be a good fit for the PTSA, you can reach out to us via our contact form

Short on time? Let the committees know exactly how much time you’re able to commit. Even 1-2 hours of time can keep these traditions going!

Auction Set Up & Clean Up (April 19)

Responsibilities include helping setting up the venue on the day of the event. Many hands make light work, so invite your friends to help too! Responsibilities include cleaning up and leaving the venue just as we found it.

Hours differ based on position.

Mustang Mashup (May - June)

This is our year end summer send off event. It includes the MOMA (Museum of Mustang Art) display, scholastic book fair, garden party, and more. This event has a great turnout with lots of setup and tear down needs.

Est. commitment per person: 20-30 hrs.
Hours differ based on position.

Field day (May - June)

Field day is always a huge success! Plan and execute multiple activity stations for all students to participate in. This is a beloved event by students and staff alike.

Est. commitment per person: 5-15 hrs.
Hours differ based on position.

WordPress/Elementor Expert

We’re looking for dev support for this PTSA website. This is our main source of communication and we rely on a fully functioning site to gather volunteers, donations, and sign ups for events. If you are a software dev or proficient in WordPress, we’d love your help to ensure the site runs smoothly at all times.

Est. commitment per person: 1-2 hrs/mo.
