Parents’ Night Out: Mingo & Mingling!
Need a night to unwind and have some fun? 
Join us for an exciting Parents’ Night Out at the Mustard Seed featuring Mingo (Music Bingo) and plenty of mingling with fellow Hazelwood parents! 
Whether you’re a music aficionado or just love a good time, this event promises laughter, lighthearted competition, and great company.
We have arranged for Hazelwood Staff to provide childcare at Hazelwood from 6pm – 9pm (if you wish to use it or find alternative care for your children). Best of all, you can relax knowing your little ones are in safe, loving hands (Parents’ Night Out Childcare – registration required) while you enjoy a well-deserved break. 
So grab your spouse, partner, or besties, and let’s make it a night to remember!

There are many ways to get involved! You can join, donate, or volunteer on the many committees that need your help! Or sign up for our newsletter to stay in-the-know.
Definitely not! Anyone in the Hazelwood community is welcome to attend the PTSA general membership meetings but in order to vote on important measures in the meetings, you will need to be a paid member. These forums are a great place to get updates on what’s happening at our school and provide feedback or ideas on how to make the Hazelwood experience the best it can be. We would love to see you there!
Before you volunteer, you’ll need to complete a background check with the Renton School District. That’s it! It only takes a few minutes to complete. If you plan on volunteering in the classrooms at any point this year, we recommend filling this out as soon as possible so you can be ready to help when needed.
Yes! We just require that those people volunteering in the classrooms complete a background check through the Renton School District before volunteering. Anyone is welcome to attend our community events!
