Active Program Need: Classroom Volunteers
Meet the Masters is starting back up again: Beginning Week of October 10th
Art History is back and our scholars need your help!! Thanks to those who participated in the PTSA Meet the Masters Art program last year. The Meet the Masters committee was awarded the Mary Lou Anderson Reflections Arts Enhancement Grant from the National PTA and along with funding from the Hazelwood PTSA we were able to purchase new artists to continue the program again this year.
Beginning in October we will be back in the classrooms to teach scholars about 6 new artists:
-Frida Kahlo,
-Pierre Auguste Renoir,
-Pablo Picasso,
-Jacob Lawrence,
-Rosa Bonheur, and
-Piet Mondrian
No art experience required for classroom volunteers.
